EASTLEA CHURCH BUYS A HONDA CRV

Rev L Simango Presides Over the Handover of Eastlea’s Vehicle to Rev C Kasimu on 21st May, 2017

The Northern Conference Superintendent, Rev Lovemore Simango fellowshipped at Eastlea Church on his tour of duty. He delivered a spirit inspired sermon with the theme “Be committed to Christ and to Christ Alone”. The scriptures were read from Matthew 6:24 and Acts 2:42-47. He urged Christians at Eastlea Church to be committed to Christ alone in line with their desired vision of being a model church. He shared with the congregation four things that will assist Christians be committed being:
1. Teaching of apostles
2. Breaking of the bread (Holy Communion)
3. Fellowship
4. Prayer.

After the service, Rev Simango presided over the handing over of the church vehicle to Eastlea’s resident minister, Rev Clados Kasimu. The vehicle handed over is a 1999 Honda CRV bought for $5 246.00 for use by the minister to facilitate in his reach to the Christians at Eastlea Church and beyond.
